Latvijā notiks Austrumeiropas PRO Drift čempionāta 4. posms

Rīgā, jaunizveidotajā Biķernieku PRO Drift trasē 2010. gada 14. augustā notiks līdz šim Baltijā lielākās un ievērojamākās PRO Drift sacensības – Rīgas pilsētas kauss, kurā sacentīsies Baltijas, Krievijas un Skandināvijas spēcīgākie drifta piloti.

Vienlaikus ar Austrumeiropas PRO Drift čempionāta 4. posmu tiks izcīnīti arī Latvijas PRO Drift čempionāta punkti, kā arī notiks Motul All Star Race. Šīs sacensības arī būs pēdējā iespēja skatītājiem šosezon Latvijā redzēt visus vietējos PRO Drift pilotus vienuviet.

Latvijā notiks Austrumeiropas PRO Drift čempionāta 4. posmsAustrumeiropas PRO Drift čempionāta 4. posms sacensību organizēšana negaidīti pirms pašām sacensībām ir uzticēta Latvijas komandai HGK, jo šo sacensību norisi nespēj nodrošināt Lietuvas organizatori. Šī iemesla dēļ aizvadītā nedēļa Biķernieku trasē ir bijusi visai saspringta, jo īpaši Austrumeiropas PRO Drift čempionātam tika izveidota jauna drifta trase, kurā iekļauta daļa no Biķernieku auto apļa un boksu zona.

Rīgas pilsētas kausa organizatori uzskata, ka šī ir unikāla iespēja Latvijai cīnīties par Rīgas posma regulāru iekļaušanu Austrumeiropas PRO Drift čempionāta kalendārā. Katram ir skaidrs, ka šāda līmeņa sacensību organizēšana tik īsā laikā nav vienkāršs uzdevums, un to nebūtu iespējams veikt bez Rīgas domes, Live Riga, www.liveriga.lv, kā arī kompāniju DC Shoes, Storent, Red Bull, Motul, Baltikums Apdrošināšana, Degviela, Discomania, Selkoms, Skorpions apsardze, Tipogrāfija Imanta, Mārtiņa Beķereja, Inhouse Media, Star FM, LNT, BalticTravelnews.com, BM Auto, TOMO Hotel, www.barman.lv, Melnais Kaķis zibenīgās reakcijas un vēlmes atbalstīt Latvijai tik nozīmīgo auto sacensību norisi.

Šobrīd dalību Baltijā vēl neredzēta līmeņa drifta sacensībās ir pieteikuši aptuveni trīsdesmit PRO Drift pilotu no Baltijas, Krievijas, kā arī Somijas un Zviedrijas. Ar šiem dalībniekiem un sacīkšu automobiļiem rīdzinieki un pilsētas viesi varēs iepazīties 13. augusta vakarā, kad paredzēts šo sporta automobiļu parādes brauciens no Biķernieku trases līdz Rātslaukumam un atpakaļ.
